Eastern Finland’s Funniest at Kajanus on Fri, Feb 14th!
Eastern Finland’s Funniest is a collaborative effort by stand-up comedians from Eastern Finland, bringing locally flavored humor straight to you. Known among friends as “ISH,” Eastern Finland’s Funniest has been touring successfully for two years, and in February, we’re excited to bring ISH to Kajaani!
ISH will perform during Valentine’s Day weekend on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Stand Up Club of Hotel Kajanus at 7 PM. There will be two shows, each lasting approximately 2 hours, including an intermission.
Grab a friend, partner, grandma, or even a neighbor and come celebrate a fun-filled Valentine’s Day with ISH.

Erityinen luontosuhde – Iikka Kivi 13.3.2025 klo 19-21 Kajanuksella! | A Special Bond with Nature – Iikka Kivi Stand-up Show | March 13, 2025, 7–9 PM at Kajanus!
Iikka Kivi’s solo stand-up show A Special Bond with Nature invites Finns to experience, cherish, and protect their connection with nature. The show humorously explores how the descendants of bear hunters have become stressed-out e-scooter riders startled by barnacle geese.
In a time of growing division, it’s vital to remember one thing we all share: Finland’s nature.
This cheerful yet sharp-edged performance features a wide range of Finnish creatures—from dwindling willow tits to the rapidly growing summer cottage population. Despite the serious topic of nature’s declining state, the show focuses not on preaching or blaming but on inspiring, finding solutions, and encouraging people to reconnect with nature.
Iikka Kivi’s previous solo show, Spede is Dead, played to sold-out audiences in 2019. This new performance has been eagerly awaited, much like the return of migratory birds during a cold snap!
